Marilyn J Carey - Rochester, NY - Rochester Cremation

Passed away peacefully with her husband holding her hand on July 1st 2021. Born in Rochester, New York to Karl and Jean Taylor, Marilyn was best known for her love of family gatherings, for always making an overabundance of food for everyone to enjoy and most especially, for the love of her grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents and brother, Karl Taylor. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband Harold, of 56 years, daughters Michelle Carey-Riehle (David), Kimberly Bolzner (Eric) Amy Carey-Martin (Stephen), grandchildren, Heather, Ryan and Max. She is also survived by ten loving brothers, sisters and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service honoring Marilyn’s life will be held at Asbury First United Methodist Church on Thursday, July 8th at 10:00 am. Immediately following the service, please join the family in the Gathering Center for a reception of cookies and coffee.

Live streaming will be available for those who are unable to attend in person. Information and a link will be forthcoming on Facebook.

    We had many happy times and lots of wonderful memories of time spent with Marilyn. She may have been our cousin, by marriage, but to us , she was our sister who we loved dearly. We will miss her immensely.
