Marjorie A. Carpenter

Marjorie A. Carpenter - Bloomfield, NY - Rochester Cremation

Bloomfield, NY-August 24 at age 78. Marjorie is predeceased by her parents Donald and Vivian Harshbarger.  She is survived by her husband of 41 years, John (Phil) Carpenter, son Christopher (Sandra) Arbasak, Sister Bonnie Maisch, and beloved cat Deucy.

She worked at Xerox as a secretary for many years and later at Guardsmark as a security guard. Her true work passion was in the antiques business – ‘The Carpenter Collection’ with her husband Phil for the last forty-one years. She loved the ‘thrill of the hunt’ for that perfect piece. Their business allowed them to travel all over the United States for antique shows. Marge loved her family whole heartedly, which included many cats over the years. Their house was never without a cat-she was a wonderful cat Mom.

Many thanks to the Bloomfield Ambulance Department and Ontario County Sheriff’s Department for their kindness and assistance, as well as the staff at Rochester Cremation.

Please send donations to Lollypop Farm in Marge’s memory: https://www.lollypop.org/

A celebration of life event will be announced at a later date.

Marge knew her antiques. She was always #1 at estate sales because she would get there 3 hrs early. I enjoyed having her as my store neighbor in Fairport. She and Phil worked hard and may she Rest In Peace.
