Mark R. Berndt, Sr. of Rochester, NY was born April 03, 1965 to Everett and Margaret Berndt. After a long and hard-fought battle with cancer, Mark departed this earthly life November 29th, 2022. Mark is predeceased by his parents; sister, Charlene; and brother, Raymond. He is survived by his beloved partner, Kasandra Wong; son, Mark Jr; daughter, Lexie; step-son Joseph Kwiatowski and their mother Rabonna; grandsons, Logan, Lucas, and Lincoln; other loving friends and family.
Mark worked at Tomra Recycling for over 15 years and was an active volunteer firefighter and commissioner for the Sea Breeze Volunteer Fire Department. He was a passionate Buffalo Bills fan, and enjoyed helping friends and family, as well as his community. Mark enjoyed riding his motorcycle, which he learned to do after his diagnosis, and loved sitting by the fire relaxing and camping up in the Adirondack Mountains.

Mark’s Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 21st, 1PM-7PM at the Sea Breeze Vol. Fire Department, 4657 Culver Rd, Rochester, NY 14622.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, children, many family members and friends! Sending prayers for his loved ones! We will miss you for family picnics that your wonderful mother in law puts on, several times during the summer! Love Ron and Cindy!
