Henrietta: Mary Ann was born on October 17, 1922 and past on January 20, 2014 at age 91. She is predeceased by her husband, Herbert Trompeter. Mary Ann is survived by her son, Gregg Trompeter; daughter, Joann Evans; 2 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosemary Newman & Elizabeth Baca; many friends.

Please accept prayers and condolences from all the Chicago (and Kalamazoo) Trompeters. We are saddened to hear of Aunt Mary Ann’s passing. The light of the world is dimished by one, the light in heaven grows stronger. The pain of your loss is balanced by the joy she brought ro you by her life.
When i moved in on Celia drive, i had no idea i would have a neighborhood family. My friends and neighbors for 15 years..Old Herb, sitting in his chair by the garage in the sun, sweet Mary Ann, hard at work at making her yard perfect and beautiful and Gregg, the nosey neighbor that makes you feel safe at night but intruded upon..lol…all have passed on. Seeing your darken house where all of your life forms once thrived brings joy and sadness to my heart. I never realized just how much the Trompeter family meet to me, till they were all gone. I don’t know what happens when we die… but i do know that i will never forgot you wonderful people and the many happy memories you gave to me, to rozzi, to goldie and to kai. I love you my friends, all three of you will always be in my heart and the thoughts and my prayers during my nightly walks and that’s where you will live on. Goodnight herb,mary ann and mr gregg.
