Mary Beth (Walrath) Curtin “MB”, 68, of Rochester, NY went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 29, 2022.
Born on July 30, 1954 to Rose and John Walrath, Mary Beth always had a great love and pride for her family. She was a graduate of St. Agnes High School ‘72 and SUNY Geneseo ‘76. She spent many years raising her children and keeping very busy volunteering at their schools and extracurricular activities, and then went on to work in the Advancement Office at Our Lady of Mercy and YWCA. She was involved in several ministries at her church, was an avid gardener, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Mary Beth was a devoted and loving mother to and survived by her children Erin Dahn Curtin-Telesca (Donald), Kevin Richard Curtin, Alison Rose Schultz (Billy); grandchildren Gabriel Michael, Damian Richard, and Isaiah Phillip Telesca, and McKenna Beth Schultz. She is also survived by her brothers Jerry Walrath (Sandi), Sam Walrath (Pam), Joe Walrath, Chris Walrath (Nancy), her sisters Lucia Walrath, Rose Tice (Del), Joan Thomas (Dave), Julie Cervini (Rick), her twin Mary Jo Rizzo (Len), Teresa Walrath (Shelby Patrick), and sisters-in-law Betty Walrath, Missa Curtin Matte, and Kathy Curtin Bartholomew, as well as many many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents Rose and John Walrath, brother Dahn Walrath, nephews Bryan Cervini, Christopher Thomas and Peter Walrath, great niece Alexis Rizzo, mother and father-in-law Richard and Carol Curtin, sister-in-law Carol Walrath, brothers-in-law Robert Matte, Michael Curtin, and Ken Bartholomew.
There will be a Memorial Service at Open Door Baptist Church, 350 Scottsville-Chili Rd, Churchville, NY 14428 on Tuesday, November 1st at 5pm. The family will receive friends at 4pm. There will be a small reception following the service.

My most sincerest sympathies to all the Walrath family. I have the most fond memories of MB, MJ and I growing up. I will cherish those always. You have an amazing family and I’m sure you surrounded Mary Beth with much love and devotion. Although I am saddened that she has gone too soon, she is free and joyful now. I will miss her and her sweet and gentle caring ways. Much love to all her friends and family.
