Rochester, NY: Mary E. Kilgore (Zaio) was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan to George and Mame Zaio. She departed this life on October 23rd, 2019 at age 86. Mary is survived by her sons Matt and Mitch Kilgore and grandchildren Celia and Zachary. She retired as a social worker from the Rochester City School District and was in private practice for over 40 years. Mary enjoyed the Florida sun, reading books and spending time with family and close friends.

Years ago I went through a particularly difficult time and my Doctor referred me to Mary. She was a light in a dark tunnel and I will never forget her. I think of her often and it lead me to this obituary. I thought her relatives should know how much she meant to this someone. I am sure there are many many more that she helped heal.
