She is survived by her husband Giuseppe Mattioli (Joe); Her Sister Winnie (Robert) Watson of the UK and her brother Bob Geoghan also of the UK; Sister in laws  Romana Mattioli of the USA and Patricia Montanari of Italy, and a special friend Charlotte Farnam.

Maureen was  a nurse for 35 yrs in the NHS in Scotland before she met her husband and came to the United States. She loved and traveled all over America, She was  amazed by the beauty and  immense size of the USA. Her favorite city in America was San Francisco. She loved to play Trivia and had friends from all over the globe. She also never had a bad word to say about anyone and always looked and found good in everyone she met.  Anyone that met her understood the gift she was to us all.

She will always be our “Wee Scot” and remembered with a smile.

A piece of my heart left with dear Maureen. I shall forever treasure the many conversations over lunches we shared over the years along with the many shared online trivia games before she arrived in the USA to live. She became a treasured friend, and I miss her immensely. May she forever rest in peace. ❤️🙏🏻
