N. Chili, NY: After a long illness Melanie earned her wings on June 8th, 2020. Born in Rochester on May 17th 1967.
As a child, Melanie vacationed at Barnegat Light, NJ with her family. This is where her love for the Ocean began. She loved the ocean, sun, sand dollars and starfish. She enjoyed RUSH, Elton John, disco music and dancing.
Predeceased by Parents Melissa & Peter Bacher.
Melanie was loved by her sister Marci Bacher Fahy (Daniel), Uncle Gene Bacher (Pam), Cousins Emily Bacher & Tom Kelley. She will be missed so many including Robert Cushing, John Basile, Dan Kavanagh, Toni-Ann Nicolo Urquhart, Frank Martusciello, Heather Miller, Jill Morrow Ramroth, Gail Johnson, Joan Rice & Rick Stockton
Melanie had a love for Cardinals. All who wish to honor her memory may consider hanging a cardinal feeder at their home.
A celebration of life will be announced in the near future on Facebook.
Melanie will be at peace with her Mom, Dad and Bear.

Marci and Dan: Our hearts go out to you in this hour of loss. Mia was such a bright light in her parents’ eyes and became a woman of determination and grit. We too have fond memories of us all at Barnegat Light; her love of the sand, waves, and the sun; and our times together in Orange County. May she rest in peace.
