Rochester, NY: Our Big Brother, our Yankee Captain, crossed home plate 1/18/21 after a short illness. He was greeted by parents Bob & Dor, brother Bob, brother-in-law Randy & nephew Kennedy. He leaves his siblings with many summers of good memories: Patty Grassel, Stephen (Phyllis), Madeline, Catherine, James (Kathy), Julie (Dave Roth), David & Joanne (Tom Taylor), many relatives & friends.
Mike attended McQuaid, Saint John Fisher & then served our Country in the Viet Nam era. He was a valuable asset in the family business, rising to the top of management, known to countless customers for his helpful service. We all appreciated his care for our parents in their twilight. Michael had an active mind and an altruistic spirit. He’s the one you wanted on your trivia team.
Please share a memory and some Cracker Jacks on June 26, 2021 at Fellows Road Lodge in Perinton, between 1 and 6. Cream Ale will be involved. Be kind.
To all the Howe family:

The md.ories ourvtwo families share go back to thr 30s with our Moms. Our summers together on Canandaigua will always be amoung our favorites from trying to ski 10+ behind the Basset Hound to watching the moon walk on our porch. MIchael was always a kind soul. RIP and say hi to my Mom and Dad.
I’m so very sorry to hear about Michael. Rest In Peace.
Michael was my cousin so I knew him fairly well growing up. We also worked together at Howe and Bassett for a few years. He lived with me at my house in Fairport for about a year back in the 70’s as well. Sweet guy, rational, clear-headed, humble, kind, thoughtful, very courteous, always fulfilled his promises, told the truth, stayed in his lane, helped when he could, never troubled anyone else, His character was actually quite admirable. We will say special prayers for the progress of his sweet soul in worlds beyond our ken. Warmest love to all.
Patty and families, I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. He sounds like a great guy. Please take comfort of your memories and the love that you all shared. Mercy ‘72

My condolences to the Howe family
Although not close to Mike he was a great member of MCQ 1970.
He had a quiet pragmatic humorous demeanor, always honest and true.
He will be missed and busy keeping Randy quiet under control above.
Thanks for the memories Mike and Randy
