God bless Mike! He was my wife’s oldest brother, an usher in our wedding, god father to our oldest daughter Amy and a friend for sixty plus years. May he rest in peace. Tom Cahill
It was a privilege to have known Michael for well over half a century, though it has been quite some time since we last ran into each other! He was a kind and gentle soul with a gift of humor and a knack for photography! I will miss him! He was a good man!
Uncle Mike always had a smile on his face and a hearty laugh. He was a good man who will be missed.
I have known Mike my entire life, of course, because he is my oldest brother. I have always been very proud of him. Although Mike suffered a debilitating paralysis from a very young age, he never let that stop him or even slow him down. He had a good job at the Kodak Camera Club, married a beautiful woman, Carol, and had three wonderful children. It was obvious to me that Mike was well liked by his friends, coworkers and neighbors alike. He had an indomitable spirit.
Much is made today about overcoming adversity. Mike should be the poster child for that.
He will be missed by all of us.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Mike was a happy go lucky good guy. Always smiling and appreciative with that hardy laugh. I enjoyed my time spent with Mike and Carol, Jaime. We enjoyed watching movies, discussing birds and photography, traveling. Please reach out if you need anything. Blessed to have known Mike.
So sorry to hear about Mike. He was my date for the Senior Ball. He always had a great smile……a very nice man. Sincerely, Donna (Cannizzaro) Cobb.
