Rochester NY: Professor Emeritus of History at the University of Rochester, died November 13, 2016, at age 92. Educated at Hofstra College and Harvard University, he joined the University of Rochester in 1961 where he taught American History until retiring in 1989. He is survived by his niece and grandnieces Claire, Kayla and Deena Blum and his nephew Lloyd Berman.
