Rochester, NY: February 20, 2023 at age 86. Norman is predeceased by parents Corinne and Harold; survived by his loving wife Mary; children Curtis Weisenreder, Diane Mohney, and Karen Dawson; grandchildren Ethan and Alec Mohney, Sierra, Jordan, and Kaidan Dawson.
Norman was blessed to be married for 64 years to his loving wife Mary Eileen (Nihill) Weisenreder. He loved and adored his 3 children as well as his 5 grandchildren. He had a dog by his side most of his life and cared for several cats along the way. He worked for Stromberg-Carlson, Castle Products, and the Bachman Company as a snack foods vendor before retiring. He also had a side business sealing driveways, which he took great pride in! He enjoyed listening to music, watching classic films, collecting antiques, growing flowers and vegetables, vacationing in the Adirondack Mountains, spending time with family, eating great food, and meeting up with his friends at the local coffee shops. He could talk to anyone, had a great smile, a fun sense of humor, and a big heart!
The family would like to share a special thank you to the caring staff at the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Norman Weisenreder to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 330 Monroe Ave, Suite 400, Rochester, NY 14607 or by visiting www.rrhgive.org/giving.
Friends and family are invited to an informal Celebration of Life on March 1, 2023 from 4 – 8:00 pm at the Dolomite Lodge, 1628 Jackson Rd, Penfield, NY 14526.
