Patricia “Pat” Kacprzynski

Patricia “Pat” Kacprzynski - Rochester Cremation

On January 17, 2023, Patricia “Pat” Kacprzynski passed away at the age of 79 after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Born to Ambrose and Naomi Grady, Pat was a graduate of Nottingham High School. She was predeceased by her loving husband, of nearly 53 years, Francis “Frank” Kacprzynski and survived by their two children, Greg Kacprzynski (Karin) of Fairport, NY and Maureen Liu (Hubert) of Ashburn, VA, 5 grandchildren and her siblings, Judy Grady and Kathy Viscusi.

Pat grew up in Syracuse, NY. She was an active member of the Beta Sigma Phi Women’s sorority chapters in both Syracuse and Rochester, NY. She had a fulfilling career as an executive secretary at legal and financial firms for over 20 years. She took pride in the work she did there and cherished the friendships she made over the years. In her free time, Pat often dabbled in some sort of artistic pursuit be it painting, sewing, drawing or poetry. She always said that the artistic spirit was “in her blood”. Above all else, Pat valued time with her family, and together, she and Frank created a life filled with love and laughter. She wholeheartedly and enthusiastically supported the pursuits of her children and grandchildren and always took the time to find the humor in Frank’s many antics. She was a woman of many talents and passions – a girl scout troop leader, sports mom, keeper of traditions and details, picture taker, the maker of memories and most importantly, devoted wife, mother and Grammie.

On December 3, 2022, Frank passed away unexpectedly and a mere 6 weeks later, Pat joined him. We are grateful that once more, they can be together again. Frank’s already planned celebration of life will move forward as a celebration of the life they created together.

A merged celebration of life for both Pat and Frank will be held at the Lodge at Victor Municipal Park (6680 Paparone Drive, Victor, NY 14564) on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 10-2 for all family and friends. For those interested in donating in Patricia’s memory, please consider St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

I’m so sorry for you and all the family Maureen but grateful that Pat did not have to linger on without Frank’s devoted visits at the nursing home. We lost Pat when she developed Lewybody dementia and I believe she is at peace with now with Frank and our parents❤️
