Rochester:  March 20, 2014 at age 87.  Raymond is survived by his wife of 63 years, Georgia Kimmel; children, Edward Kimmel & Laurie K. (Guy) Ferrari; grandchildren, Anthony R. Ferrari, Candice M. Ferrari (Mencer) & Gregory Mencer; great-grandchildren, Anthony H. Ferrari, Bella Mencer-Ferrari & Analiese Mencer-Ferrari; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Sylvia Sonner; long-time friend, Joe Traci.

Raymond is a Veteran of the United States Navy and proudly served our country in World War II.

A private ceremony will be held at the family’s convenience.

In lieu of flowers, please forward contributions to the Leo Center For Caring at St. Ann’s Community in his memory.

    I can not thank you enough for everything you did for me. From the time you spent with me, the things you taught me, to the great memories you left with me. I miss you more than you could know. I was truly lucky to have you. I love you and I will always miss you.

    I like to believe that when we lose someone close to us they still live through us and give us strength. The time we have spent with those we’ve lost makes them part of us. My condolences.

    I was trying to find my long lost friend Laurie and stumbled upon this. So very sorry for your loss. I have not seen the Kimmel family in many many years but I have the greatest memories of being over there. You were always so nice to us kids!
