Richard Alan Nicholls II passed away suddenly on May 16, 2023 at the age of 54. Born in Pensacola FL, he grew up in Las Vegas NV. He was predeceased by his father Richard A Nicholls and his best friend Little Bit, a Great Pyrenees. He is survived by his mother Pamela Cyphers Nicholls, brothers John Darlin (Miranda), Bill Nicholls (Karen) and his sons Brian Alan Nicholls (Christy Sproul) and Austin Charles Nicholls (Serenity Sayyeau). He is also survived by three very young granddaughters, Makenna (4), Sophira (2), and Estella (1 1/2).
He lived in the Rochester area for about 12 years and was employed as an HVAC technician. Richard was a member of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greece and was noted for his fine singing and speaking voice.
Funeral service will be held on June 17, 2023, at 11 am at Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4301 Mt. Read Blvd, Greece, NY 14612. A gathering meal will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Richard’s name may be made to Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Richard was a man of many talents and he cheerfully reached out his hand wherever help was needed. Now God forever holds his hand.
