Richard D. Thornton passed away peacefully on December 7th, 2022, at the age of 76. He is survived by his partner Edward Stringham, two daughters Brooke (Greg) Gribben and Cynthia Thornton; brothers Darryl (Elaine) Thornton, Robert (Kathy) Thornton, sister Carole Thornton, nieces, nephews, 5 grandchildren, many extended family, and wonderful friends who became family. Richard is pre-deceased by his parents Robert and Angela Thornton and his brother Randall Thornton.
Richard (Dick) will always be remembered for his free spirit, loving heart, and sense of humor.
Richard’s family will be having a private celebration of life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Pluta Cancer Center Foundation in memory of Richard.
Not only Richard was my brother but my best friend . I will always remember him with great memories.
