Richard Joseph Chiarenza - Penfield, NY - Rochester Cremation

Penfield, NY:  November 25, 2021.  It is with a heavy heart & great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Joseph Chiarenza. Richard was born in Rochester, NY in 1945 & grew up with his brother, John and mother, Margaret. After a few years in California, Richard came back to Rochester to start his family and a business.

Richard built Frontier Communities, a property management company that started as a one man show to become one of the largest in Western NY. He enjoyed music, golf, helping others & especially spending time with his children.

Predeceased by his mother, Margaret (John)Brennan; father, Joel Chiarenza; brother, John Chiarenza & son, Richard J. Chiarenza.

Richard is survived by his children, Carlie, Joel & Michael Chiarenza and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 3rd from 1-4pm at the Delmonte Lodge, 41 N Main St, Pittsford, NY

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the St. Jude’s Research Children’s Hospital.

Always fun and full of life, Richard will be remembered for putting a smile on everyone’s face. He could light up a room with his sense of humor and he would always say, “When you can laugh at yourself, you know you’ve arrived!”

    Joel my sincerest condolences Richard is a great man I enjoyed working with him and your right his sense of humor was great he will be missed by all, again I am so sorry for your families Loss

      I am so very sorry to hear that Richard has passed. I just found out. He was a wonderful man. God bless him and please take care of him.

    I’m really sorry to hear about this. He was a great guy, full of life, and could bust balls like nobody’s business. I was actually wearing a frontier properties tee-shirt all day today that Rick (jr) lent me years ago. My heart goes out to you.

    You were very wise and inspirational, smart and very gifted. You taught me so much… over the years… you are and we’re one of God’s greatest gifts too me… Your life story will go on forever in my heart… i promise to make you proud of me… when you can look back at life and laugh you know you have arrived.
