On September 7th 2022 at the age of 73, Richard peacefully passed with his family by his side. Richard will be remembered for his never give up attitude and his devotion to his family and friends. His is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sandra, their children Steven, Richard Jr, Michael (Tiffany), Tammy (James), Jonathan (Mikayla), 8 grandchildren and his beloved dog, Buddy. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Catherine, siblings Albert Jr, Julia, Kathleen, Edward and grandchild, Cole.
Richard retired from the city of Rochester after 34 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and a car enthusiast. Richard cherished the time that he spent with his family and friends, whether it was sitting outside drinking coffee or inside enjoying a homecooked meal. The love and laughter that was shared amongst all of us will never be forgotten.
Family and friends may pay their respects on September 24th from 9am-11am at Rochester Cremation, 1118 Long Pond Road Rochester NY, 14626. A service will follow at 11am for those who wish to attend. The family would like to thank everyone for reaching out with their kind words during this difficult time.
