Rochester, NY: August 6, 1960- March 30, 2020
Robert is predeceased by his father Robert A. DeGroat Sr. and his mother Francis Dubois and his younger brother Brian E. Degroat Sr.
He is survived by his brothers, Ron (Brenda) Bevier Jr., Keith (Mary) DeGroat, Tony DeGroat; sisters Linda (Mike) Matza, Anita Jones and Bobette Storms. There are several others close enough to be brothers and sisters. Many cousins all around the states, nieces and nephews and his longtime girlfriend Sherry Hale.
He battled a long time illness with cancer.
We will be celebrating his life with family this summer.

I’ll see you one day in Heaven. I am so Thankful I was able to speak to you and I’ll always remember that just wish we could have had our DeGroat Family Reunion. Our family is passing away at such a young age. Its very heartbreaking. Its been years since we’ve seen one another but I always thought about you and your brother’s and the rest of our family, I just pray we Reunite one day instead of funerals.
