Gates, NY: Robert “Bob” W. Gorman, 70, passed peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2020. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister in-law, Margaret Aultman-Gorman. He is survived by his sons, Jay Paul Gorman (Stephanie) and Austin Gorman (Michelle); his grandsons, Jay Paul Jr., Jagger, and Mason; Sister, Laurie Signorelli (Frank), Brother, Daniel Gorman, and many nieces and nephews.
Many remember Bob on the sideline coaching his sons’ lacrosse games. He was very proud of both his children, and would always find an opportunity to share a story about them. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Notre Dame football fan and enjoyed golfing with his friends and sons.
Bob’s visitation will be held Friday, November 6th, 4-7 PM at Arndt Funeral Home,1118 Long Pond Road, south of Maiden Lane. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 7th at 9:30AM at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece Road All guests are required to wear a mask at both events. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

I’m so sorry to hear of Bobby’s passing. He was a great friend to me and we had a lot of fun times back at Mooney. I loved his Mom. God certainly has an incredible Angel now.

Bob ..you were a long time friend..I enjoyed the many rounds of golf that we played. I enjoyed all the wonderful words you had to say about your family(even though it was in the middle of my back swing).I will miss the phone calls and all the updates you gave me …May you rest in peace my friend
I was sorry to hear of “Uncle Bobby’s” passing. He was such a character, and we enjoyed it when we got to see him when he would visit Dayton, OH on occasion. He will be missed. May God bring you comfort during this time.
So sorry to hear of Bobs’ passing,he was always a welcome addition in my Mom’s house for birthdays holidays and visits when he was dating my sister Roxanne.He dubbed my wife “Shakey Shar” and gave her the first ride she ever had on a motorcycle.
