Spencerport NY: Entered into rest Thursday June 2, 2016 at the age of 71. Predeceased by his beloved wife Sherrill; children, Marc Layton, Donna Layton; parents, Milton and Jane Layton. He is survived by his children; Robert (Andrea) Layton,  Constance Rychlik,  Debbie Layton; grandchildren, Gary Lester, Nicholas Layton, Justin Layton , Corey Layton; sister, Nancy Layton.

Bob was a retiree from Rochester Products where he and Sherrill first met. Both shared a love for animals and all were treated as their children. Carly, his last white boxer passed just a few weeks before him. The two were inseparable and often seen together in his truck driving around the village in search of other dogs out playing in their yards.

    I can’t tell you how much I will miss my brother Bob. We had lost touch for a while but have talked each week for the past 6 years and I’m glad we did. He was a nice, caring person.
    I’ll never forget the times we had as children growing up in Concord, New Hampshire and those memories will always be with me.
    My sympathy goes to his children and grandchildren. Just know he loved you all.
