Rochester, NY: Robert (Bob) Hargrave passed suddenly Monday January 21. He is predeceased by his mother Beverly Hargrave. Bob is survived by long time companion, Jean Hanf and their children and grandchildren, his father Gary Hargrave, sister Susan Laesser (Mark), brother Charles (Ed) Hargrave (Laurie) and many beloved nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Bob grew up in the Tenth ward (Maplewood neighborhood) and loved playing football whether for the 10th Ward Tigers or in a neighborhood pick up game. He was a member of the 10 Ward Tigers team that traveled to the National Pop Warner Championships. Bob was a gifted story teller and writer. He loved spending time with family and friends and had a kind word and smile for everyone. Bob will truly be missed by those who knew him.
A Mass is planned for Bob Hargrave on Saturday February 9. 2019, 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Cathedral with a Celebration of Bob’s life, planned by his companion Jeanne Hanf and his family, at Creek House Commons 1000 White Swan Drive 14626 at 1:00 pm.
