Roddy as everyone knows was a wonderful person. I became familiar with Roddy when her husband first came to the Jewish Home and found her to be thoughtful and caring. Then she became a resident at the “Home” and I will always remember her lovely smile and warm greeting whenever we met. She will always have a warm place in my heart. My sincere condolences to you, Jacey and the rest of your family.

We are so sorry for your loss. Roger and I were so glad that we got to see her before her passing. She was always smiling, even at the end at the hospital. I remember when the Aunts, Babs, and I took a trip to Sedona, it was so much fun. Always good memories of her. May she RIP and be with the Angels. Love always

My Aunt Roddy was a special person. I can remember all the way back to the early ’40’s when My Mom, Aunt Ruthy, Aunt Doe and I all lived with my grandparents while the men were at war. Aunt Roddy was always playing hide and seek with me. Throughout the years She always showed me love and understanding. I could talk to her about things I couldn’t with my mother. I fondly remember when Uncle Ossie gave me a job cleaning his gym on Sundays. After the job I would go to their house and have lunch with Aunt Toddy, Uncle Ossie and my cousin Jill (Jayce). I have so many good memories so she will live forever with me. Good bye Aunt Roddy, we shall meet later.

I have fond and loving memories of my dear beautiful and beloved Aunt Roddy. She had a wonderful laugh that I will always remember. Aunt Roddy and I had a special caring and loving relationship–she was my favorite Aunts and while I moved to Colorado in 1980, we remained in touch with loving phone calls, cards, and seeing each other whenever I was in Rochester. I have fond childhood memories of spending quality time with Aunt Roddy and always loved when she would stop by our home. My Mom, Dad, Aunt Roddy and all my other Aunts and Uncles, with the exception of one, have passed–this is the end of an era filled with incredible memories. I am saddened to lose my beautiful aunt and will remember her fondly and with love. Jacey, you went back to Rochester from Hilton Head, a place you loved, to take care of your Mom–I know in my heart that she was grateful and so am I. May you Rest In Peace, Aunt Roddy, knowing how much you are loved and how much you are missed. Love, Joanne

I had the pleasure of taking a care of Roddy at the Jewish home or Rochester. She was a very special lady to me, as a fresh out of school new aide at the time Roddy never failed to put a smile on my face and I would always try my best to make her smile too. I still think about Roddy almost everyday and I hadn’t seen her since January 2014. May you Rest In Peace Roddy!
