Penfield NY: Rosemarie T. Weart, 89, went home to the Lord on November 18, 2018. She is survived by her beloved husband, of 60 years, David, by her children, Geraldine (John) Castilleja, James Weart, and Jessica (Chris) Weart, her sister Christa Andersson, in Oldenberg, Germany, grandchildren, Tim (Beth) Castilleja, Jeremy (Stacy) Castilleja, Joseph (Toya) Lewis, Elizabeth (Dante) Lewis, Dallas (Tawny) Weart, David Weart, Mya Bisig, great-grandchildren, John, Anna, Bella, Teagan, and Jaden, and many more family members and devoted friends.
Rosemarie was born in 1928 in Bad Schwartau, Germany, and worked as a psychiatric nurse in London, England. She met her loving and devoted husband when he was stationed in the Army in Germany. They wed in the United States in 1959.
Rosemarie was an avid reader with a huge collection of books, enjoyed gardening, baking, traveling, and loved spending time with her family. She adored her English Bulldogs, Minnie and Arabella.
We thank the staff at Penfield Place for all the loving care that they provided. You are all truly angels at work.
A memorial service for Rosemarie will be held on November 25, 2018 at 10am at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Open Door Mission, Rochester, NY.
