Rochester, NY: Sally Daniels passed away peacefully on April 15, 2020 following a long illness. She is survived by her mother Connie Daniels, 3 sisters and 2 brothers, several nieces and nephews and several longtime friends. She is predeceased by her father, Donald Daniels Sr.
Sally will be remembered as always being a very unique and independent person. Always following her heart, she lived her life her own way. Sally enjoyed family, friends, a career and co-workers, and had a special place in her heart for her Irish Setters.
At Sally’s request, there will be no services.
Sally was a strong, independent, creative person who lived her life fully and traveled to the beat of her own drummer. She was the BEST person I knew at relaxing and realizing what was truly important in one’s life. Sally’s friendship was a genuine gift. I learned a lot from her, and cherish many memories made together.
Something about Aunt Sally made her the cool aunt in my mind. Maybe it was her independence, maybe it was her unconventional ways, maybe it was her clever mind, I am not sure. It was always a treat to have her come to Grandpa and Grandpa’s when I would visit there. It was so interesting to talk to her and to hear her stories. And, she showed a sincere interest in me and what and how I was doing. She clearly loved her family and had deep relationships with friends. May she rest in peace.
