Sam T. Cuckovich.

Rochester – December 10, 2024, at the age of 67. Sam passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, from ALS/Lou Gehrig’s disease. Preceded in death by his parents Sam and Margaret (Peggy) Cuckovich, he is survived by his son, Bryan Cuckovich, siblings Mary Kay Cuckovich, John Cuckovich, and Martha (Cuckovich) Lucey, and nieces, nephew and close friends.

Sam attended Cardinal Mooney High School, the University of West Virginia and Rochester Institute of Technology, and spent his career as a machinist at Kodak in Building 53. A dedicated single father, his warm manner and quick-witted humor will be missed by friends and family alike.

A memorial service will be held on January 18, 2025 at 10 AM at  St. Lawrence Church, 1000 North Greece Road, 14626.  A lunch reception will be held immediately following the service at Agatinas Restaurant, 2967 Buffalo Road, 14624.     Sam will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful man of courage and bravery. His sense of humor, infectious laugh and smile will never be forgotten. To Sam’s family. Thank you again for allowing our facility to take care of him. He will always be remembered with warm thoughts and a smile.
