There will be a committal service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetary in the All Saints Chapel on March 18th at 1 pm.  After the service, we will say final goodbyes at the St. Luke columbarium in the Holy Rosary Garden area where Sam will be laid to rest.  For anyone who would like to attend, we will have a remembrance with light refreshments at Romig’s Tavern afterward.

If you enter Holy Sepulchre from Dewey Avenue, the entrance is across from McCall Rd.  After pulling in, make quick right then left(you will see Resurrection Garden Mausoleum on the left and the winter wreaths sign). Go past Ascension Mausoleum and Chapel(there is a sign)and continue straight.  You will see S 31 on the left and S 32 on the right, continue straight and pass Holy Rosary Garden on the left, make a left and you will see the overhang for drop offs and the parking spaces for All Saints Mausoleum(there will be a sign on the right).  The chapel is just inside the door under the overhang.
Entering through the Lake Avenue entrance:  Go straight in-the Way of the Cross is on your left and section D on your right.  Make a left at the stop sign and go past S 2 and continue around curve.  Christ our Light Mausoleum on left and All Saints on the right. Enter under the overhang and go right into the chapel, the Holy Rosary Garden is on the other side of the mausoleum.
When you leave, go out the Dewey Ave side and make a right onto Dewey.  Romig’s is about 3 minutes up the road on the right, 18 Bennington Drive.

I am so very sorry to hear of Sam’s passing. He was a big part of my childhood years on Randolph Street. He was a great friend who always liked to play frisbee with me. He will forever have a special place in my heart. Thoughts and prayers to the Garritano family.

I’m saddened to hear that Sam has passed. Sam was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. We worked together back in the ’90s and I was in a short lived band with his brother Anthony before that. We love the same style of music and I have fond memories of listening to the latest metal releases and discussing and giving our opinions. Anthony if you see this, please give me a call it’s been along time.
