SANDRA LEE POPE
Sandra Lee Pope, 77 Originally from Chenango Forks NY, passed peacefully on April 7th 2024, after a short stay at the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Rochester NY. Sandra was a 1966 graduate of Chenango Forks Central High School. Sandra was a loving wife and mother who will forever shine on in our hearts and memories.
She was preceded in death by her mother Alice (Gage) Snyder, her father Leon Snyder, her brother Leon (Sonny) Snyder, her Son Theodore Parker, her husband Richard (Dick) Pope, her grandson Tyler Webb and a great grandson.
She is survived by her sister Deborah (Wayne) Seever, her brother Richard (Kathy) Snyder, her son Richard (Jessica) Parker, step-children Cora King, Pamela Pope, Mike (Shanon) Pope, Richard Pope Jr, Bonnie (Chris) Allen, and Brian Pope. As well as her grandchildren, Amber and Autumn Parker, Cody, Allison and Austin Parker, Robert and Dylan King, C.J. and Morgan Lum, Emma Pope, Alexandria and Zachery Alford, Richard (Trey), Kayla and Emmitt Pope, Sidney Hoover, Chris Jr (C.J.) and Noah Allen, and many great grandchildren.
Sandra spent the last few years of her life being cared for by her son and daughter-in-law Richard and Jessica in Brockport N.Y.
Richard and Jessica would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Lily, Dana, Natalie, and Tiffany who were instrumental in assisting us in caring for Sandra. Each of you were very helpful in making mom’s life meaningful and happy to the very end. We cannot thank you enough for all your time, help and comradery.
Sandras graveside interment ceremony will be held Saturday August 10th 2024 at Jersey Hill Cemetery in Meshoppen Pennsylvania at 11:00 am.
Sandra and her husband Richard Pope will both be placed at the site at that time, but have already been reunited for eternity, as has Sandra with her her parents and son.
