Rochester, NY- Passed away peacefully on November 27, 2021, age 92. A native of Lock Haven, PA, June was the daughter of Harry and Ina Miller Yost. She was predeceased by husband, Ernest, siblings Lois Henry, Albert Yost, William Yost, Bertha “Bert” Bennett and Benjamin “Bud” Yost and infant granddaughter, Kathleen. June is survived by sons Daniel (Marilyn) and Jeffery (Martha), grandchildren Daniel and Kathryn (David Kleehamer) Lansberry, great-grandchildren Hyla and Kit, siblings Clara “Toot” Mapstone, Fred Yost, and Marion Spong and many extended family and friends.
June was a long-time employee of Marine Midland Bank. In retirement she enjoyed travel, playing cards and garage sales. She was famous for her deviled eggs, a staple at family gatherings and neighborhood potlucks!
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 15th at 11 AM at Orchard Community Church, 2285 Latta Rd. Rochester, 14612.
