Sharon Frances Limback
June 1, 1942-September 18, 2021
Sharon went home to be with Jesus Christ her lord and Savior peacefully and surrounded by loving family on Saturday, September 18, 2021. We rejoice knowing that she is at peace in heaven with a fully restored physical body and in no more pain.
Sharon is predeceased by her loving parents William and Helen Sadwick, and her brother John Sadwick (Jo Ann), infant son Michael, and son Alan Benton. We have comfort knowing that she will be reunited with them in heaven. She is survived by her children Melody Arliss, Michelle Durham (Mike), Mary Rosdahl (Rob), (little) Mark Benton (Lourdes,) (Big) Mark Benton, Brian Benton, and Drew Benton. Brother Bill Sadwick (Judy), cousins Donna Wojeck and Denny Copeland, grandchildren Rudy, Jimmy, Becca, Ryan, Stephanie, Paige, Andrew, Desiree, Tory, Eric and 10 great grandchildren whom she loved very much and many nieces and nephews.
Sharon was born and spent her entire life in the Rochester area. She retired after many years from Rochester Products. Sharon loved to attend Red Wings games and watching Buffalo Bills games. She loved playing bingo with her friends. Sharon will be remembered for many reasons, her love of family, friends, and food, and her greatest love, her lord and savior Jesus Christ. Sharon was well enough to travel to Israel in May of 2019 and experience walking on the same roads as Jesus which was a lifelong dream.
A very special thank you to all her friends and the staff at the Fairport Apartments and to Virginia her neighbor who became more like a sister.
Please join us for a Celebration of her life on October 3rd at 2 pm at Browncroft Community Church, 2530 Browncroft Blvd, Rochester, NY.
Michelle and family,
I am saddened to hear of your mom’s passing and offer a prayer for comfort and peace for all who loved her. From your tribute it is clear that she has many loving family members and I pray that all of you have many loving memories of her to comfort you in the days ahead.
Mary and family. I’m so sorry to hear that your mom passed away. Sharon was very sweet and always nice to talk to. I always liked teasing her about the Bill’s and Dolphins! I know she is at peace now and I hope you are all doing ok.
Michelle,
Feel bad for your sorrow, missing mom and having to see your family hurt. So happy that she is with Jesus and you will see her again. Sending you one of my big hugs. May God give your strength during arrangements and service. May he give you peace of mind that she is happy in his kingdom. May you be surrounded by love.
Sending loving thoughts and much sympathy to all of Sharon’s children. So many wonderful memories from the 70’s when our families shared so many good times together. Sharon was so much more than a sister-in-law, more like a best friend and much loved sister. She was fun to be with, she was caring and generous – a heart of gold. We mourn for losing her here, but rejoice knowing we will see her again – the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
