Shirley D. Smith, 57 of Perry, NY passed peacefully at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY on November 5, 2020 after a long fight against breast cancer.
She was preceded by her parents, Harold and Dorothy Knapp and her sister Judy Bell. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Richard Smith, her daughter Jennifer Smith, and her stepson Richard G. Smith II as well as her siblings Ruth Newland, Bill, Dick, Jack, and Donald Knapp.
Shirley loved spending time outdoors gardening and doing crafts. She devoted many years to raising her daughter and working various retail jobs in the area.
There will not be formal services. She will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the families gofund me page to help with expenses. Link: gf.me/u/y7537q
