Born in Irondequoit, New York, Susan found eternal peace at 5:20pm July 31, 2019 at age 62 after a short, but hard fought battle with liver disease. Susan was preceded in peace by her grandparents Chet and Helen English, mother Barbara English and sister Deborah Kemp. She is survived by her daughter Jaclyn (Jacob) Reeves, brothers John and Scott Kemp and many close friends.
Susan was an avid reader who also loved to travel, attend concerts and do crafts. Susan attended Our Lady of Mercy High School from 1971-1975, before going on to receive her degree in Nursing from Monroe Community College. She worked at the Rochester Psychiatric Center as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. Special thank you to the amazing staff at Strong Hospital in the Palliative Care unit for caring for Susan so graciously as she transitioned into peace.
Please join us for a celebration of her life that will be held on August 25, 2019 from 2-6pm at Fireside Grill 3939 East Henrietta Rd, Henrietta, NY 14467.
