Susan Kemp - Irondequoit, NY - Rochester Cremation

Born in Irondequoit, New York, Susan found eternal peace at 5:20pm July 31, 2019 at age 62 after a short, but hard fought battle with liver disease. Susan was preceded in peace by her grandparents Chet and Helen English, mother Barbara English and sister Deborah Kemp. She is survived by her daughter Jaclyn (Jacob) Reeves, brothers John and Scott Kemp and many close friends.

Susan was an avid reader who also loved to travel, attend concerts and do crafts. Susan attended Our Lady of Mercy High School from 1971-1975, before going on to receive her degree in Nursing from Monroe Community College. She worked at the Rochester Psychiatric Center as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. Special thank you to the amazing staff at Strong Hospital in the Palliative Care unit for caring for Susan so graciously as she transitioned into peace.

Please join us for a celebration of her life that will be held on August 25, 2019 from 2-6pm at Fireside Grill 3939 East Henrietta Rd, Henrietta, NY 14467.

      Aunt Sue you will be missed more then you will ever know. Olivia and the rest of the kids loved the time they got to spend with you and will cherish it for the rest of forever. Its never goodbye its see you again someday!

    Sue as i read this i still can’t believe your gone. You were such a great friend to me. I have a lot of memories together. Every time i think of of them the tears flow. You fly high my friend. Say hello to my mom, dad, and aunt rosie. Also my little curly red headed daughter whom i never met. I love you friend.

      For the short time I knew everyday was a blessing talking with you Your Heart was made of Gold. No one can break your heart now because you are with the Father and he will bless you and keep you. I pray that keeps your daughter I know how you worried about her and had unconditional love for her.

    Dearest Jackie, I knew your mom was ill but I had no idea it was that serious ! I am so very sorry for this Tremendous loss, She was a WONDERFUL LADY and friend over the years, I will miss her greatly. Will try to be there August 25 many prayers for you and your family . 😢

    I just learned of Susan’s passing today my heart is heavy with grief. We were book buddies and Facebook friends. I will cherish the memories of our meeting at Sticky Lips. Rest in peace my friend.
