Susan (Brooks) Restivo died at the age of 73. Predeceased by her son Christopher Lynn, parents, and several siblings. Survived by husband of 55 years, Sebastian Louie Restivo; daughter Brenda (Ross) Thibault; sons, Louie Restivo, Robert (Lisa) Restivo; grandchildren, Lynsey (Brian) Kissell, Louis Restivo (Shannon Schirmer); great grandchildren, Luke, London, Charlotte, and Harper; sister, Martha Fletcher; brother Gerald (Linda) Brooks; sister in-laws, Marilyn Restivo, Angelina Shaw; brother in-law, Joey (Cheryl) Restivo; several step grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Susan retired from her own home daycare program of 30+ years. Susan loved caring for her family, especially her young grandchildren and great children. She enjoyed baking, hosting family gatherings and holidays, tending to her garden, and was a longtime avid NY Yankees fan.

A public burial service will be held on October 30, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Columba Cemetery in Caledonia, NY.

Losing A mom is a terrible loss. Next to a child I think it’s the worse. I didn’t know Aunt Susie very well. I do have a memory of her when I was (2-3) years old. She was babysitting me and decided it would be funny to scare me. She made me believe there were ghosts in the house. Needless to say I was petrified.

I miss you every single day . I wish I could have 5 more minutes with you to tell you how much I love you and how important you were in my life . I miss telling you everything that is going on in my life. I miss our talks and our laughs . The girls talk about you often . You were the most loving and caring person I know and never judged anyone .
