Susan Harnaart - Rochester Cremation

Rochester, NY: April 4, 2023 at the age of 65. After a very long battle with cancer, Susan was able to finally reach some peace. Susan is predeceased by her parents Norval & Jean Harnaart, Sisters, Ida, Cindy, Carol and Darlene (Lawrence) and her loving Daughter Violet Venticinque.  She is survived by her Lifetime Partner of over 32 years Christopher Brancato, Daughters Tammy DeCarlo (Alan), Loretta Bisig (Raymond), 8 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren and other loving family and friends.

She worked at the Episcopal Church Home for nearly 30 years caring for others until her illness prevented it. She has made many great friendships over the years. She enjoyed her cross-country road trips on the Harley with her Christopher and awesome friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, cross stitching, and just spending good times with family & friends along with playing games on her phone.

There will be calling hours on Monday, April 10th from 10-12pm with brief prayer service following at 12pm at Rochester Cremation, 1118 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626. Private interment to follow at Falls Cemetery.

    I am sorry for your loss. Sue will be surely missed by me, Sue is one of the best friends I ever had and very special to me. Though I’ve only known her a few years our sisterhood was very strong.

    My heart is sad for Chris and Sue’s family. She was a wonderful person and has left many fond memories from years past. Sue is finally free from her health struggles while leaving such sadness upon her leaving this life. Until we see each other again… R.I.P. sweet Sue.

    Sue was always one of the sweetest people I knew at ECH. She always had a smile and helpful nature. I was so glad to reconnect later in years on Facebook. She will be greatly missed.
