Beloved mother and sister, Susan Varlan, passed away on March 15, 2023 from natural causes. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to David and Marjorie Kiefer.
A former nurse, Susan devoted her time at the Parma Greece United Church of Christ and an array of local charitable organizations. She was accomplished in fiberworking, dollmaking, designing, gardening, and antique collecting. But most proudly, she was a devoted to providing for her family.
Beloved spouse of Peter Varlan, Susan is survived by her sister Nancy (Kenny), her sons David (Kristen), Andrew, and Timothy (Megan), stepsons Peter (Kitty) and Christopher (Stephanie), and step-grandchildren Abigail, Evelyn, Hannah, Katie, Mallory and Mandie.
In respect to Susan’s wishes, no services will be held. Her life and memory will be forever cherished.
