Suzanne M. Lenhard: 1960 – 2020

Scottsville, NY – November 18, 2020 at 60 years young. Sue was predeceased by her parents Richard & Kathleen (Nolan) Lenhard and her in laws Elmer and Grace Knitter.  Sue is survived by her wife of 34 years, Julie Knitter, her sister Nancy (Jim) Fennessy of Colorado, brother Richard “Rick” Lenhard, Jr of Florida, in laws Peter Knitter and  Pat (Barb) Knitter of LeRoy,  Dave (Frances) Knitter of Phelps,  and Tom (Janice) Knitter  and Gail (Jim) Horne of Scottsville, and many nieces and nephews. Sue also leaves behind her wonderful VanSice cousins Marlene, Mary, Barbara, Cathy, Ann, and Robert.

Sue worked for Delphi Technologies as a Senior Mechanical Designer for over 20 years and she cherished the many friendships that she made there throughout the years.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, June 11, 2021 with a graveside service at Holy Angels Cemetery in Scottsville at 9am. In her honor, a Red Cross Blood Drive will be held at St. Mary’s Hartmann Hall in Scottsville that same day from 2-7pm. Please go online to redcross.org to register.

    I am sorry to hear about your lose of Sue. I was a friend of Sue’s a long time ago. The last time I saw her was on the St. Lawernce River. I just lost my wife of 25 years.
    Again I am sorry for your lose. My thoughts will be with you.

    I am so sorry to hear of Sue’s passing. She was such a joy to talk to.. I wish you solace in knowing that she has such a strength of spirit. You are wonderful neighbors and I shall miss her and her beautiful smile.
