Tammy Ruth Read

Tammy Ruth Read - Avon, NY - Rochester Cremation

Tammy Ruth Read, age 57 of Avon, NY passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022. She is survived by her daughter Kendra Everts; Mother Ruth Adams; sister Lauren Hollingsworth (James) ; Partner of many years Frank Wood; numerous nephews and nieces, and preceding her in her passing was her father Ronald Pimm.

Tammy grew up in Churchville, NY on the family farm.  She graduated from Byrant & Stratton with an associates degree in business.  Her time on the family farm created a love of gardening and animals as she grew up.  She owned many pets throughout her years and treated each one of them like they were the most important creature ever created.  She enjoyed playing a good game of pool and would play as often as she was able.  She loved to cook and often opened her home to family and hosted many holiday meals.  She was an avid communicator and could laugh at the smallest of things.

Tammy was a caretaker and cared deeply for those around her.  She loved fiercely and deeply and we take comfort in knowing she is now with the Lord and surrounded by light.

Tammy had no wish for a service, she stated that she wished for a celebration of her life.  In the coming months, her family will be organizing a party to celebrate a woman who was as loved and cherished as Tammy is.

Please consider donating to Lollipop farm or your local ASPCA on behalf of Tammy Read.

With a very heavy heart I learned of Tammy’s passing. I was very saddened to hear this. I had lost contact many years ago, but have often thought of her. She was a very caring person and loved animals. She will be greatly missed by many. We grew up together and had many great times when we were young. My deepest condolences to her family. Fly high with the angels my cousin and be at peace. Love you Tam…

This is not goodbye, it is until we meet again,
    Deb
