Terrell Lashawn Monroe was born in Rochester NY to the late Deloris Monroe and John Short on February 1, 1976. He was a student in Urban Suburban Program where he graduated from Wheatland Chili Central school in 1994 and became an active member of the Kappa league of Rochester. He furthered his education at the University of Buffalo where he obtained a bachelors degree in social science.
On June 30th, 2020 Terrell was called home after a long battle with illness. Terrell is preceded in death by his parents Deloris Monroe, John Short, and grandparents John Monroe, and Amy Monroe.
Terrell is survived by his aunts Beverly Monroe, and Sherry Sizer. Five brothers and four sisters. His four cousins JuQuan Monroe, Keisha Drayton, Brian and Breon Davis. Along with a host of great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Terrell also leaves behind dear childhood friends/sisters Taneesha Ashford and Kelley Davis and 2 close friends Teraysa Smith and Tara Dixon Johnson.
The memorial service will be held Saturday, July25th, at 11am at New Progressive Cathedral Church of God and Christ, 384 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY.
