Thank you for always treating me like a cherished daughter and for making my children such a priority in your life. Together we have celebrated their accomplishments and milestones and cried over their disappointments. You were always there and showing endless and encouraging support at all of their school plays, Girl Scout ceremonies, sporting events, award ceremonies, Awana ceremonies, dance recitals, school open houses, and the list goes on and on ~ even when you were not feeling well at all, you were there with a smile and positive attitude and no one would have guessed how much you were suffering. Having you so involved in my children’s lives was such a blessing and we already feel the incredible loss. You were always there to watch the girls when they were little, give advice, help us through rough times, and be there with us in good times. You are one of the most generous people that I have ever known, and have served as a good model for our family, teaching us giving through action. My children are blessed to have so many great memories of time spent with you ~ shopping, playing, watching Sponge Bob, making and painting ceramics, going to the park, getting manicures, eating mac and cheese and hot dogs, doing fashion shows with the bags of clothes they would come home with after shopping with you, going to Friendly’s, and more. Our hearts are broken and, even though it has only been days, we already feel a huge emptiness and we miss you so much. Our memories of you and times shared will sustain us and help us pass through these hard times and rise again. Just like you were always physically present in our lives, now you will be present in spirit as you continue to surround us with your endless love.

Grandma, thank you for always being there for me. I’ll cherish the memories I hold dear to my heart, shopping, going out to lunch, our sleepovers, making brownies with grandpa before you came home to suprise you, you are a big part of my life and have been with me through it all. My seven-year old self absolutely adored Theresa when she asked me to be a flower girl at her wedding; I couldn’t believe my mother wouldn’t let me skip My First Communion in order to fulfill official flower girl duties. There must be hundreds of people whom Theresa similarly touched with her generous and loving heart. This cousin’s thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends she’s left behind.

It is wonderful that we will be able to celebrate her life during her most favorite season, spring. I will always remember Theresa when I plant my flowers each year because she showed me how easy it is and what joy those flowers can bring.

With my cousin Theresa gone, part of my life is gone, too. We were in the same classroom at Transfiguration for 8 years, we took our First Communion together, and we spent many a Christmas Eve at babci’s house in Rome with the rest of the Kochmans. They are wonderful memories. I will miss her, her outgoing personality, and her warmth and friendship. May she rest in peace.

I was humbled by the news of the passing of my cousin. I can’t remember the last time we spoke but I believe it was on her wedding day. I was part of the ceremony. Different paths for each of us made space for our own lives. I understand that Theresa enjoyed golf. I played golf with my wife today and felt her presence on the course. We thought of her during the round and I can’t remember not being upset on any of my errant shots. Maybe there is a course in heaven!
Please accept our condolence’s on you loss.

You have Geo’s and my condolences.

I will always remember my friend of over 40 years and all the good times we had golfing, shopping, going out to lunch, getting together for holidays and dinner. I praise Bob for his dedicated caregiving this past year as I know how hard it is to be a caregiver.

    Love,
