Therese was born in 1938 in Normandy, France. She was one of nine children. Therese came to the United States at age 20 and married Bernard Joseph Mangold. They had 4 children.  Therese had many hurdles to overcome. She learned how to speak English and drive a car, all in a foreign country.  Therese was tenacious to say the least.  The word no wasn’t in her vocabulary. She was resilient. Therese worked very hard to raise her 4 children. She retired 3 years ago from caring for her second family Jim and Barbara Present. Her favorite hobby was her beautiful garden. She always looked forward to the spring and summer so she could enjoy nature. She loved walks in the park and Watkin Glen. Her favorite place was Monture Falls.  She loved her family very much and that was her greatest joy.

We will all miss her. Rest in peace Mom.

Love you Mother (Je t’aime maman)

See you soon. (a’ bientot)

Love you.

    To Family,

So sorry to hear of the passing of Therese.
I’ve known your mom through Barbara G for many many years seeing your mom mostly at the parties although we went out once for a hamburger.
The last time I saw her, she was at Barbara’s going away party and we sat with her. I loved that her son was so attentive to his mom and she was pretty happy she had him with her.
I will miss her. She was a beautiful woman inside and out.
    Rose Rawlins.

Very sorry for your loss. Therese was a great mom, with amazing kids, and she cared so much about others. Having her as a neighbor was so joyful as she always smiled and waved. I was blessed to have the beautiful garden outside my window as well. My fondest memories of Therese was when she was teaching me to play the piano, gardening together, and swimming in the pool. I appreciated her thoughtfulness throughout the years for my family. She will be missed and always remembered fondly.

Therese was a beautiful, sweet woman who brought joy to anyone she met. My Mom and our family loved her for many years. We loved being with her as she was a bright lively spirit, full of life. She made an effort of keeping up with Mom even as dementia has crept in. She told us how much she loved her family and how her sons looked after her. We loved her and feel lucky to have known her.
