Thomas Gebhart

Thomas Gebhart - Spencerport, NY - Rochester Cremation

Spencerport, NY:  Thomas W. Gebhart passed peacefully on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Donna Gebhart, daughters, Michelle Epping, Christine (Ken) Cook and Tracey (Daniel) Cholish, and sisters Judith (Robert) Garcia and Mary Sue Orme, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tom retired from Eastman Kodak in his early 50’s, and worked many fun and interesting jobs over his remaining years. Being a shoe salesman was one of his favorites. He enjoyed helping his neighbors, and was an avid R/C car racer, involved in many local groups. Starting in 1976, this became a life-long hobby of his, and even included operating a full race track in their back yard for many years.

Because of these uncertain times, we are not having a memorial to celebrate his long and happy life. We hope you will join us in remembering him with your favorite memories. He will be greatly missed.

The family wants to thank Hildebrant Hospice Care Center for their wonderful support in his final days. Memorial contributions are appreciated to The Pink Fund, to assist other cancer patients with daily living expenses as they navigate their treatment. Please include Tom’s name with your donation. Donations can be made at www.pinkfund.org.

We are so sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. We were just remembering the snow storm of 1977 when we could not get our daughter, Erica from school on North Greece road as our street was snowed in. Tom went & retrieved her and Tom & Donna kept her until we could get out to come & get her. Good friends for a long time.
