Thomas (TJ, Tom) Alfeld - Rochester Cremation

Thomas (TJ, Tom) Alfeld of Avon, NY passed away April 16,2024 from an unexpected Illness. Tom was born in Fort Wayne, IN but grew up in Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ. Where his friends nicknamed him Zoomer due to his love of photography. He was proceeded in death by his son Mason James, Grandparents Welmar (Whitey) and Laura Alfeld, Roger and Madalyn Johnson and many extended family. He leaves behind many loved ones. He is survived by his daughter Kaylee Lyn and wife Leah. His parents James and Rebecca Alfeld. His brother Jeff Alfeld and wife Sue, their children Justin and wife Katie Alfeld, Curtis Alfeld, niece Allie Kruger and husband Alex, beloved sister Julie Naugle and husband Guy.

No service has been planned. We were able to say goodbye to him on the night that he passed. And he will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Tom, you can finally rest.

    I can truly say. I loved him and we always kept in touch.

    Be at peace, the struggle is over, and God has you forever.

    God hold Tom’s loved ones close.
    Keep the memories of his love and laughter central in their memories.
    Ease their sorrows.
    For loss is not an event, but a process to share with each other.
    Take heart that Tom is at peace in the love of the Great Lord God.

      Lorie,Thank you for your kind words. I know he valued what you and he shared. Saying goodbye and letting him go was the hardest thing any of us have ever experienced, but as you said he is at peace and surrounded by all the love he found so difficult to accept while on this earth.
