Simple Cremation - Rochester Cremation
TIMOTHY JOHN KNEUER (January 20, 1971 – November 15, 2024) of Macedon, NY passed away peacefully in his sleep at the at The Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Rochester, NY after a tireless battle with Cancer. He was born in Greece, NY, moving with his family to Pittsford, NY in 1973. He graduated from Pittsford Mendon High School in 1989. He then attended St. Bonaventure University in Olean, NY where he graduated, earning a degree in English, as well as a secondary concentration in Visual Arts. These degrees fortified his creative passions of drawing, painting and poetry.  After graduating from St. Bonaventure University, he returned to the Rochester area forging his initial roots of sales in the Pharmaceutical Industrty, before finding his true calling of working with seniors. His gentle and caring demeanor were ideal for the unique setting of working with this important part of society.
Timothy is survived by his brother, Michael, his father-in-law, Bud, and a family of loving friends.  He was widowed by his wife, Sharon Higginbotham, just a few short months ago. And, it is Sharon that will forever be his true soulmate, both in life and beyond. They journeyed through life together, virtually inseparable, wanting to share new experiences and memories together. Their refuge was the Adirondacks where they would hike, camp fish and explore.  Their bond was unflappable.  Few in life ever reach that level of love, but they were blessed. He was equally blessed with a group of friends that were truly a family to him. Regardless of the setting or cause, Timothy reveled in the opportunities to engage with those from high school or his neighborhood forging new memories to be relived at future gatherings.  Additionally, he cherished his getaway weekends with his buddies to the Adirondacks, and beer festivals in Cooperstown. He always wore an endearing smile reflecting the true joy of life.
Timothy requested that, in lieu of flowers, please consider donations in his memory to the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, or the cancer research organization of your choice.
A celebration of Timothy’s life will be announced in the near future.
