ROCHESTER, NY: March 28, 2020 at age 85. Walt passed away peacefully with his sons by his side.
He was happily married to Jane for 57 years. They shared an amazing life together. Walter was born in Wellsville, NY and was the son of Walter and Edna McMurtry. He had many wonderful memories with his one sister, Beth and his brothers Carl and Everette. Walt was an avid bird watcher, gardener, fisherman, hunter, butterfly collector & wood worker. Walt loved his family and was an amazing father to his four boys.
Walt is survived by his wife Jane, children Walter,Geoffrey(joi) Daniel, Timothy(Carol). Grandchildren Jamie(Tyson) Kayleigh(Kyle),Megan,Caleb,
Services will be private and a celebration of life will be held this summer.
