Webster, NY:  Wilfred J. Bagnewski, 91, died Saturday Sept 14th at Highland Hospital after a lengthy battle with COPD.

 He was born in 1928 to Marion Bell and Anthony Bagnewski in Irondequoit NY.

 He graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in 1946 and then went to work for the Todd Company.  In 1950 he enlisted in the Army and was a veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1950 to 1952. He then worked for the Friedan Corporation and retired from Xerox in 1990. His hobbies were photography, music and old movies. In his earlier years he was a member of a drum and bugle corp, and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

 He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mollie; daughter, Lynne E Howard and Son, Thomas E Wiederhold (Gwen Maxwell); and 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

His Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 22nd, at 2pm at the United Methodist Church, 3679 Main St., Walworth, NY 14568.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mercy Flight or Webster Fire and Ambulance.
