William (Bill) Edward Duffy, 67, of Greece, NY passed away peacefully on May 30, 2022 after a bravely fought battle with cancer.
Bill is predeceased by his parents, John and Julia Duffy. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara, his sisters, Mary (Bob) Allen, Patricia (Sam) Baubie, Donna Lewandowski, Karen (Ed) Monahan and his dearly loved nieces and nephews and their children.
Bill was born in Rochester, NY on April 3, 1955. He graduated from John Marshall High School. He then proudly served our country as a Marine in Okinawa, Japan. He returned home to work for Sybron Nalge. Afterwards worked and retired from Walmart. Bill loved to travel and captured his many adventures with beautiful and memorable photography. He was a sports enthusiast and an avid fan of the Boston Celtics, Red Sox, Buffalo Bills and NASCAR racing. He loved 70’s and country music and enjoyed going to concerts and plays. He was loving, generous and kind to everyone and will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Julie, I never met you, but I know you were special to Bill. I worked with him at the Gates Walmart and his wit and work ethic are things I enjoyed. Sometimes I marvel at how small our world is and how one person can leave an everlasting ripple. I pray God’s peace over your life.
