  13. Mary Beverley - Kotek on January 3, 2020 at 6:36 pm

Hi I’m Mary Pat’s first cousin, Mary Beverley-Kotek from Virginia. I Just happened to look at face book and saw the news about Bill. Like my Mom, Aunt Peggy Beverley, who passed away on Fat Tuesday about ten years ago to what she called a party in heaven, Bill left on New Years Day.. I am so very sorry.
I have been trying to contact Mary Pat and Bill for over a year. I have lost contact with most of my first cousins who have died for the most part. My sister Polly and I were the youngest children born to my Moms generation. We are kind of stuck in the middle of generations.
Anyway we loved Bill and as kids looked forward to when Mary Pat and Bill would visit my parents on their way down to Myrtle beach . We remember visiting our Aunt Polly and watching Mary Pat get ready for her date with Bill before they were married. She would often tell my mom how happy she was with her Bill who was sometimes like her Uncle Bill ,,my Dad. I am so sorry we could not connect with Mary Pat and Bill this past year. We wish we could make to Bills celebration of life. Please feel free to contact us in your time of grief and look us up if you get to VA or NC where Pauline lives.

Our parallel paths crossed many times over the years. I’m a westside and AQ guy but that didn’t matter to Bill/ Mouse/ Boozie. Always smiling, happy and engaging. The last years our paths crossed was watching our granddaughters playing lacrosse together. I was always impressed that despite his failing health he managed to come to those sometimes frigid, or rainy games. That was a long time after our days of Redwing games with TK and Farrell and the others. Thanks for the happy memories and sharing this special person . Dave Schmitt

  17. Pauline “Polly” Beverley Heizenroth on January 7, 2020 at 3:35 pm

    Cousin Mary Pat,
So sorry to hear about your loss. I have fond memories of the two of you while I was growing up as such a compatible and fun loving couple. 55 years together probably felt much too short. My heart goes out to you and your family. You are all in my prayers.
