Michael A. DelCorvo

Michael DelCorvo -Rochester Cremation

Hilton: Peacefully passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 at age 59 after a hard fight with pulmonary fibrosis. He was predeceased by his father, Nicola DelCorvo and Sister, Mary-Ellen Postell. Survived by his Mother Elizabeth Kryk (John) his beloved wife of 37 years, Carmen; children, Jeffrey (Kaitlyn) DelCorvo and Mark (Jessica) DelCorvo; grandchildren, Daniela and Sofia DelCorvo and Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and dear friends.

Mike was a dedicated worker with 20+ years at Lenel. He was honored to be a part of Lenel and took pride in always going above and beyond for his clients and his team. He was an enthusiast of many hobbies. It would be a shorter list to mention the things Mike did not take part in. He was an amazing cook, who loved to continue experimenting in the kitchen, even after perfecting a dish. If you knew Mike, its likely you have tried one of his delicious meals. He entertained us as the DJ at many parties and events including his son Marks wedding. He was the photographer / videographer capturing all the families’ precious memories. He also is the originator of the “Selfie”. He enjoyed “jam sessions” with his friends and spent many hours in his homemade studio, AKA the basement which was also the centerpiece of where Mike would entertain you with a game of pool and cards. He rode motorcycles and boated on nice summer days. He built computers, made things with his hands and his list could go on and on. Dad, we are sorry if we forgot something as we know you would be critiquing this list. Above all, his family was most important to him. He was a devoted husband to his wife Carmen for 37 years and a dedicated father to his two sons and daughters-in-law. He was proud to receive the title “Papa” to his twin granddaughters. His heart was as big as his appetite for adventure into something new. He found meaning in doing the things he enjoyed with the people he loved. That included many friends and family. Everyone who knew Mike could feel how wholeheartedly he cared for them. Mike was a believer, and he had a deep love for Christ. His faith made him strong and loving in all his pursuits.

A Memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Greece Assembly of God, 750 Long Pond Rd., Rochester, NY 14612 at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, March 22nd.

Private Interment. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the Open Door Mission at 156 Plymouth Ave #1834, Rochester, NY 14608. To share a memory please visit:

    Dear Carmen,
We are so sorry for the loss of your beloved husband. We hope you feel his love and presence through your children and grandchildren. David very much enjoyed working with him and will miss his chili at the cookoffs. He remembers fondly when Mike brought in his homemade “One Chip Challenge” chips and he got to partake in the spicy goodness. Our thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time.

Rest in peace cousin Michael, I’m going to miss you. We had some great times as kids. Always making the next best dragster, a better radio or drawing our favorite muscle car the ‘57 Nomad with a 427 engine and the biggest, baddest tires, rims and pipes you could fit while cartooning all the faces in the newspaper before anyone had a chance to read it. No matter how much trouble we got into our moms we’re still going to take us to Red Barn for a hamburger and French fries!

I only knew Mike professionally through Lenel as he supported my company. He was always jovial and went the extra mile for us. He never missed a call (until a week ago) and had a great relationship with our engineers. I am sorry I did not know he was ill. We will miss his friendly demeanor and dedication to our team. My condolences to the family from everyone on my team at Wells Fargo,

I am very deeply sorry for your loss. Mike was a great guy. He truly cared for people and it showed in everything he did. I have never met a nicer guy. I met Mike through work. It was evident that Mike truly cared for his customers. It shown through in everything he did. Mike was always available to help you with anything he could when needed. He was even eager to jump on calls if the situation called for it. I came to value our talks that started off with work, but inevitably steered off course with Mike at the helm 🙂 and I will definitely miss the many inside jokes that we shared.

Over the years Mike became not only a coworker, but a good friend of mine. I will always cherish the time we got to spend together. Mike was the type of guy who made you smile just about every time you interacted with him and you could easily tell that he genuinely cared about you. There was nothing that he wouldn’t do for those he cared about. He was such a great guy that the last time I saw him in the hospital he was more concerned about how I was doing than himself. That’s just the type of person he was.

I know that there are no words I can say to take the pain of losing him away, but I hope it is some small comfort to know that he was such a special person to so many of us. I still find it hard to believe he is gone. If there is anything I can do to help during these trying times, please do not hesitate to reach out. My number is in Mike’s phone. Just know that I am thinking about you and am willing to do anything I can to help. I know it’s what he would have done for me.

Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. Please accept my deepest condolences, my thoughts and prayers are with you through this difficult time.
    Respectfully,
    Tony Petriello

Mike was truly one-of-a-kind. Only being at Lenel for 6 years now I didn’t get to know him as well as many who will likely comment here, but in that short time he made an impact and I will never forget him. You could see the love and pride in his eyes every time you talked to him. What a remarkable man. I hope his family comes to know how much Mike was part of so many people’s lives.

As a co-worker and friend of Mike for 19 of those 20+ years, I want to say you captured him perfectly. I started with Mike in Tech Support, and he was the Video guru in the group and I watched as he tackled many new challenges in our company, We were honored to have him join our Service group in recent years. He absolutely shined when he was able to help his customers and our team. We will all enjoy the memories of the parties he DJ ‘ed and the photographs he captured in our parties and picnics. I will always appreciate the heart to hearts Mike and I had over the past few years. The pride he had in his family, his sense of humor and the joy he had in everything he did, is a great reflection. Our hearts go out to Carmen, the boys and all of the family. God Bless…. Michael & Barbara

Carmen and boys, I was so saddened to learn of my cousin Mike’s passing. I didn’t know he was suffering with an illness. He was a peaceful, loving man and a great cousin. You always knew he cared very much about you because he made it a point to call periodically and check in. We’ve had some long talks over the years. I’ll miss that very much, he was much better at keeping in touch than I was.

God Bless you all. You’re in our thoughts and prayers, always.

I only had the pleasure of working with Mike for the last year or so when he was assigned to my account. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, always willing to answer a question. Mike was also a talker, lol. We got off topic a LOT on our meetings and it was evident how much he loved his wife and family. Most recently my rottweiler puppy, Bruno was acting up while we were on a Teams call. This led to Mike sharing pics of his own dogs and then about 1,000,000 questions about where I got him and all things rottweiler. He left that meeting really wanting (another) one and also really sure that his wife would say no! Mike, RIP until we meet again! It was a pleasure knowing you.
