Linda Anne Hagoski Crisp Staggert died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 5, 2020 after suffering from a stroke. She passed away in Rochester, New York at the age of 62.
Linda is survived by her husband, Richard Staggert of Rochester, New York; her daughter Katrina Beaver and her husband Jessi Beaver of Little Rock, Arkansas; her son, Nicolas Staggert of Rochester, New York; and her sweet kitty, Coco. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews in Rochester, Utah, and California. Linda is remembered with love by her many friends and family members across the country.
Linda was born on October 27, 1957 in Venice Beach, California to her mother Edna Fernandez and her father Joseph Hagoski. She graduated from San Fernando Valley Academy in 1975. For many years Linda was a successful model – posing for ads in Bloomingdales, Coca-Cola, and Macy’s, just to name a few. She later when on to complete nursing school where she became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked in this profession as a private, in-home nurse where she assisted in the care of many patients; all of whom loved her dearly and favored her care above many others. Her nursing career spanned over 30 years and it brought such joy to her heart. Linda was married to the love of her life, Rich, for over 25 years. Together they had their son, Nicolas, who was her darling “Bumble”. She had her daughter, Katrina, from a previous marriage and cherished her dearly as her “sweet baby girl”. Linda’s children were her sole reason for living. Being a mother was all she ever wanted in life. Her children were, by far, the most precious things in her life.
Linda was always the life of the party. She enjoyed hosting friends and family at her beachfront condo on Lake Ontario. She was an extremely generous person who felt that the gift of friends and family was enough to make her happy and mattered more than anything else in the world. She will be missed terribly by all who knew her.
At the request of the family, and due to the ongoing pandemic, a formal service will not take place. Instead, Linda’s life was celebrated by close family where they toasted to her and thanked her for all the love she had given them.
Linda’s children, Nicolas and Katrina, sat by her bedside at Unity Hospital (of Rochester General) every day leading up to her death. They wish to thank the entire ICU staff, the 2200 ward, and all the doctors, nurses, orderlies, and staff who aided in her care. Their compassion and warmth helped Katrina and Nicolas to know that their wonderful mother was always looked after and treated with kindness and love.

The sudden loss of their mother is painful and they need to process this time in their lives privately and among their family and friends.
