GAINESVILLE, NY: Passed away on January 8, 2021 at 66 years old.
Cindy predeceased by her parents Frank & Luella Fields, brothers Gordon, Robert and Gary and a sister Linda. She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, James, her devoted partner for over 30 years. Sons: Steven of Florida, Jason (Myra) of Leroy NY, Lucas (Renay) of Kendall, NY and Dustin (partner Kirstyn) of Silver Lake, NY. She was a loving Grandmother to four grandchildren, Tyler, Tiana, Carter and Landon. Siblings: brother Donald (Nancy) Fields and Sister Janice Dawson. Sister in-laws Beverly and Diane Fields, Diane & ( Paul Fusco), Donna McArthur, Dorene George, Brother in-law Charles Perry, Plus her father in-law Charles Perry. In addition to several nieces and nephews.
Cindy worked at Rochester General Hospital for 43 years as a Registered Nurse (RN) and educator. Tending to the sick and helping others. She was a natural caregiver and was always known to be there to help and care for family and friends.
Our family would like to express our gratitude to Rochester General Staff and friends, they took care of Cindy in her finial fight and helped our family to get through this difficult time. Our family loves all of you and are grateful for all you did for Cindy and us. A special thank you to Joe Swick (her boss and friend) for his compassion and continued support.
This virus took our Cindy, our family asks everyone to continue to wear a mask and be safe. God be with us at this time and need.
Cindy was an amazing mom to have. She always put us boys ahead of herself and asked for little in return. From baseball games to a shoulder to lean on she was always there. For over 30 years Ive had this amazing person in my life it was a blessing to have her in it.

I didn’t know her well but I know the Perry family was very close and know you all have a heavy heart. But she is is heaven taking care of all others and watching over you all
